Specialized Pet Loss Therapy & Consultation Services with a Licensed Psychologist Who Understands Your Grief
Are you or a loved one grieving the loss of a beloved pet?
Our practice specializes in the human–animal bond and understand how deeply this significant personal loss can affect your life. When you’re struggling with complex thoughts, overwhelming emotions, or finding it hard to move forward, we offer compassionate pet loss therapy and grief counseling with a trained psychologist.
Our goal is to support you through the bereavement process with genuine care, understanding, and professional guidance…so you don’t have to navigate this grief alone.
If you are experiencing any of the following, we are here to help:
Intense sadness, emptiness, or sense of emotional numbness
Guilt, self-blame, or second-guessing medical or end-of-life circumstances
Grief following euthanasia, sudden loss, illness, or a traumatic event
Anger, shock, or lingering “what if” thoughts about how your animal companion transitioned
Loved ones’ concerns about your emotional well-being since the loss
Recent loss triggering a complex trauma history and mental health symptoms
Feeling misunderstood, unsupported, or judged by others
Difficulty returning to daily routines including changes to sleep, appetite and concerns with focus
A deep sense of loneliness and change in purpose since the significant loss to your daily life
Because pet loss grief is often misunderstood or minimized, many people find themselves grieving in silence. The bond you share with your pet is real, meaningful, and deeply significant. Working with a licensed psychologist who specializes in this unique loss provides a safe space to process grief with compassion, validation, and guided support.
We provide accessible and convenient telehealth therapy and consultation services for animal-assisted therapy, anticipatory grief, and pet loss counseling.
We support pet parents of all companion species, as well as veterinarians and animal care professionals whose lives and identities are deeply connected to the animals they love and serve.Whether you’re grieving a beloved companion, facing an anticipated loss, or carrying the emotional weight of caring for animals professionally, you don’t have to face it alone. We offer compassionate, knowledgeable support every step of the way.
